About New Life Recovery in Christ

Our Mission

It is the mission of New Life Recovery in Christ to assist each person in obtaining a new life through the new birth as detailed in the Holy Scriptures. And, to equip each person for a life of sobriety through church membership, Bible study, prayer and Christian fellowship.

Mission Verse

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

New Life Recovery in Christ is a ministry of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs, TX. We are not an addiction treatment center, we are a Christ centered, salvation-based recovery ministry. We have witnessed a 100% success rate in those who have met the target goals. We believe that addiction is the result of sin and is therefore a spiritual problem. We believe that there is only one cure for a spiritual problem, and that cure is the new birth through Jesus Christ.
